Are you looking for a centre full of aroha and warmth? Are you a natural-born nurturer with a knack for making learning fun? Do you love to get creative and come up with new and exciting ways to teach important skills?

One of our lovely Kaiako will be going on PPL in June through to February 2025, we have an opportunity for a Registered Early Childhood teacher or 3rd year teacher in training to join our amazing team for a Fixed Term period.  As a Kaiako with us, you will be working alongside passionate and caring educators who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our tamariki.

This is a full time fixed term role from May2024 – February 2025 with opportunities to extend or go permanent!

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
  • Excellent communication skills
