Are you passionate about food and enjoy cooking? Do you find joy in creating meals that children love?

We are looking for a full time centre cook to join our amazing team! If you know your way around a kitchen, can get creative secretly adding veggies to meals, and love children, we would love to hear from you! As our cook, you will play a vital role in preparing dishes that not only nourish our tamariki but also provide them with the essential energy they need to thrive, learn, and engage in playful activities!

This is a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about food and nutrition to support young children's growth and development.

What are we looking for?

• Experienced in cooking for large groups, be it in a childcare centre or other environment
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, at times under pressure.
• Fit and active, as this is a busy role
• Excellent at communication and have skills to build rapport with parents & children
• Flexible in approach, but also able to work to a daily schedule
• A real team player with a "can do" attitude
