Busy Bees Aotearoa started life as Provincial Education in 2013, growing from a single centre in Rotorua to over 80 centres today.

Our centres are located across the length of New Zealand, from Coopers Beach in Northland, all the way to Ōamaru in Otago, and all offer something unique and special to their local communities.

It is people that are at the heart of everything we do, and as an organisation, we are passionate about providing the best care and early childhood education for the next generation of New Zealanders. We see each child as unique, and work closely with our families and communities to create meaningful, engaging and fun learning experiences for each child. We’re dedicated to supporting our tamariki to thrive and reach their full potential in their life-long learning journey.

Our Culture

As we continue our journey of growth at Busy Bees Aotearoa, it’s important to us that our culture and values of putting others first remains at the forefront of who we are and what we do. We’re often told that our positive team culture is felt throughout our entire organisation and keeping this alive and felt within our centres is a priority that we hold close to our hearts.

Our aim is to always offer support and guidance to our centres in a way that allows our teams to enjoy the benefits that come with being a part of an extended whānau but also with an intentional focus on empowering our Centre Managers to lead, make decisions and operate their centres with a tailored approach that best reflects the needs and interests of their communities.

Every centre is unique

Every centre has it's own wonderful contributions to share and stories to tell which add to the diversity and strength of our Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau.

We value how these help tell our unique Busy Bees story in a way that differentiates us from others. Most of all we are proud of the incredible work our centres do at making a difference in the lives of so many families across New Zealand.
