The way we do things
Busy Bees Aotearoa is a beautiful whānau and we absolutely treasure the whanaungatanga (relationship focus) in our centres. We are passionate about quality outcomes for children, and they are at the heart of everything we do.
We know that people are our greatest asset, so we do our best to foster passion, professionalism, family values and a commitment to excellence across all our early learning centres, and to always be supportive, positive and easy to deal with.
We value families
Every child and family are welcome as part of our whānau. The principles of respect, care, warmth, trust, and aroha (manaakitanga) are the foundation for excellence in our teaching. We focus on developing strong, meaningful, and authentic relationships (whanaungatanga) with children their families and whānau.
We stand true to these values, and respect and honour the uniqueness of each centre community, their tamariki and their families. Together, we’re committed to future generations of New Zealanders and believe that every child matters.
With the parent/child relationship first in our approach to education, along with a caring environment, we are able to provide quality learning with the flexibility needed to accommodate the needs of each individual. Children are given the tools they need to get them school ready, whilst encouraging them to explore and enjoy their early years.
Communication and trust
We value open communication, and welcome constructive feedback from our team and families. This model allows us to learn and grow as an organisation and share our learnings across the group.
