Our centre is built on a team that truly feels like a family — united, supportive, and collaborative in everything we do. We are knowledgeable and energetic, with a passionate, quirky, and bubbly spirit that brings joy to our everyday practice. Easy-going yet deeply nurturing, we maintain a positive environment where manaakitanga and aroha are at the heart of our relationships.
Choosing the right centre is important, and we’re here to support you. Come visit us—we’d love to share in your child’s learning journey!
We take great pride in how this warmth and care is reflected in our connections with tamariki and their whānau, creating a space that is friendly, welcoming, and full of trust. Together, we embrace the perfect balance of chaos, calm, and fun, making our centre a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and at home.
The health and wellbeing of our tamariki is of the upmost importance. By placing intentional focus on each of these areas, we are providing tamariki with every opportunity to gain the skills and habits to take with them into a healthy future.
By focusing on the 4 key pillars of Hauora (Tana Tihana: physical, Taha Hinengāro: mental and emotional, Tana Whānau: family and social and Taha Wairua: spiritual wellbeing) we weave key aspects into the everyday curriculum with our children.
As part of this ongoing commitment to the holistic wellbeing of tamariki, we have researched and developed programmes focused specifically on the two key areas of Physical Activity (MOVE) and Nutrition (Nourish).
Our Centre Cook lovingly prepares morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea daily. All menus are dietitian approved and have been thoughtfully designed following the New Zealand Food and Nutrition Guidelines and the Ministry of Health Healthy Eating for Babies, Toddlers and Children.
Our centre is thoughtfully designed with four nurturing rooms that support children at every stage of their early learning journey.
Babies Room: Welcomes our youngest pēpi, typically from around 3–6 months to approximately 15 months, providing a safe, calm, and responsive environment with experienced and nurturing kaiako.
Toddler Room: Children continue to grow and explore until around two years of age.
Kindy Room: Caters for children aged approximately 2 to 3.5 years, supporting curiosity, confidence, and emerging independence and self-help skills.
Preschool Room: Supports children from around 3.5 years through to school age, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for a smooth transition to school.
Transitions between rooms are flexible and guided by each child’s individual readiness and development, rather than age alone. Across all rooms, our educators provide consistent guidance and encouragement to foster age-appropriate independence and self-help skills in a caring, inclusive environment.
Our centre also offers a newly refurbished Transition to School programme, designed to build essential early learning skills such as pre-writing, scissor skills, and early letter and number recognition — all delivered through fun, play-based activities.
Additionally, we provide an exciting Holiday Programme that runs alongside the school holidays. This programme offers themed days and a fun change of pace, supporting creativity and enjoyment, as well as children who may find the school holiday period challenging while older siblings are at home.
