With a safe and nurturing environment, Busy Bees Havelock North plays an essential role in the Havelock North community. We value every child and see them as unique and a special taonga and provide a place for children to learn, develop and grow through social interaction. Our teachers are passionate about encouraging children's creativity, supporting their emerging social interactions, and celebrating their individual successes. We cater for tamariki up to six and we are open from 7.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
At Busy Bees Havelock North, we have a cosynursery, a separate toddler centre and an adventurous kindergarten learning environment. Each area has their own separate outdoor area providing endless opportunities to explore the natural environment - our toddler space even has their very own bike track. Your child will love the well laid out learning corners at our centre, consisting of a family play area, creative art corner as well as a quiet space for reading and reflection. Get in touch if you would like to come in for a tour and experience the magic of our centre in person.
We value relationships with our centre whānau (family) and wider Havelock North community. We believe that these relationships are crucial to your child's development, and we incorporate them into our programme on a daily basis. An example would be our relationships with neighbouring Te Mata School and Hereworth School through our excellent transition toschool programme.
