Environment and Support
Each one of our centres is unique in their environment, philosophy and practice, so there are a wide variety of teaching opportunities available across our network. Our multi-cultural centres provide spaces that is tailored to the needs of the tamariki (children) and kaiako (teachers) within the local community. We offer comprehensive induction programme with regular and ongoing mentoring and professional development for our teaching team.
Curriculum
We are committed to follow the aspirations of the New Zealand National ECE Curriculum, Te Whāriki. Te Whāriki envisages kaiako in early learning settings working in partnership with parents, whānau and community to realise this vision. The expectation is that, in their early years, children will experience a curriculum that empowers them as lifelong learners.

Qualifications Assessment
NZQA evaluates overseas tertiary qualifications to work out how they compare to New Zealand qualifications. You will need to apply for your NZQA Teaching IQA to ensure they meet the New Zealand teaching standard. Visit the NZQA to begin your application.
Teacher Registration
Once you have received your NZQA results, you can apply for your Teaching Registration. To practice as a teacher in New Zealand you need to be registered and hold a current practicing certificate. To gain registration and certification as an overseas-trained teacher you will need to apply through the Teachers Council.

Visa Support
We are an Accredited Employer which means we can support you with an Accredited Employers Work Visa! With this Visa, you will be able to work in New Zealand for an accredited employer who has offered you at least 30 hours work a week.
To support you in this visa, you will need to be a New Zealand Qualified and Registered Teacher. You will be guaranteed the Median wage or higher at time of employment and working at a permanent full time capacity. Find our more by visiting Immigration New Zealand.
