Registered ECE Teacher | Busy Bees Hastings

Are you a Registered Teacher who loves calm, relationship-centred teaching and a real sense of whānau? We are looking for a kaiako to join Busy Bees Hastings and support tamariki to grow as confident, connected learners across our nursery, toddler and kindy spaces.
 

About us:

Busy Bees Hastings is a warm, community-focused centre where whanaungatanga and belonging sit at the heart of our practice. Our three age-specific rooms offer variety for kaiako and space for strong relationships with tamariki and whānau to grow over time. We prioritise emotional safety, active movement, social-emotional competence and cultural identity, all supported by well-resourced, calming environments and engaging provocations. Our kaiako are reflective, passionate educators who value teamwork, creativity and celebrating children’s success. As part of the Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau, you are supported with clear systems, professional growth pathways and leadership that genuinely cares about wellbeing and high-quality teaching.
 

About you:
You hold an ECE or Primary qualification and current NZ teacher registration. Building trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau is central to your practice, and you bring a calm, intentional presence to your teaching. You enjoy creating environments that support emotional competence, active movement and child-led exploration. You communicate clearly, work confidently within a collaborative team and are skilled in planning, curriculum and reflective practice. A commitment to cultural responsiveness and inclusive teaching will help you thrive here.
