ECE Registered Teacher | Busy Bees Whakatau Street

Looking for a full time passionate registered teacher, who is familiar with assessment, planning and evaluations, confident with Story Park, and most of all someone who can fit as part of our centre whanau as we strongly believe in developing whakawhanaungatanga (relationships).

Located in the heart of Rotorua, on Whakatau Street, we are easy to find and within a short travelling distance to the Rotorua CBD. Parents love the rich sense of community at Busy Bees, and our curriculum reflects our philosophy or strong relationships. We absolutely love coming together with our tamariki, whānau and community to strengthen our relationships with one another.

We have three classrooms that are licensed for 80 (20 under twos and 60 over twos).

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognised by the New Zealand Teachers Council

• Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs

• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families and colleagues

• Prior experience in teaching in an early childhood settings.
