We’re a small rural community in the Tararuas where school and everyday life flow together. Our teachers are neighbours and friends who know the families, understand local rhythms, and care deeply about each child’s wellbeing and learning. Because we’re close-knit, tamariki feel safe and seen. Like rivers joining, our children bring their own stories and strengths, and our kaiako walk beside them, offering the guidance and nourishment that helps them grow.
 

About you:

You’re the kind of person who can jump in at short notice and bring calm, care, and good energy with you. ECE experience is a bonus, but what really matters is your warmth, clear communication, and a genuine love for nurturing little humans. You’ll be supporting a professional, fun team that celebrates small wins, shares ideas, and looks out for each other.
