Unregistered Teacher

Love working with tamariki and watching them shine? Whether you’re starting out in ECE or ready for a positive change, this is a great place to grow.

Due to one of our kaiako going on maternity leave and another relocating to Australia, we have two full-time opportunities available: one permanent, and one fixed term from January 2026 through August 2026. Step into the world of ECE and make a real impact, nurturing a love of learning and creativity every day.

About us:

Busy Bees Church Street is a warm, community-minded centre where every child is a taonga. You’ll find nourishing, home-cooked kai, a huge backyard made for wonder, and well-resourced rooms tailored to each age and stage. Our kaiako know our whānau, so relationships feel natural and everyday moments become real teaching opportunities. We love tuakana-teina time, where older and younger tamariki learn alongside each other and confidence grows. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you’ll join a network that truly backs its people. We celebrate professionalism and passion, and we support your growth with real opportunities to learn, lead, and thrive. If you’re ready to bring your heart for tamariki to a centre that feels like home, we’d love to meet you.

Why Work for Busy Bees?
If you’re passionate about early learning, Busy Bees is the place to be. Although we are part of a global organisation, our company was founded by three families looking for better, more enriching childcare. Three decades later, we still keep the same values at heart.

We know that we couldn’t do what we do without the important people in our teams. We invest in our people and work with them to build career pathways that inspire.
