Are you someone who brings warmth, curiosity and genuine care into every moment with tamariki? We are looking for an unregistered kaiako to join Busy Bees Hobsonville and support rich, child-led learning across our Reggio Emilia inspired classrooms.

About us:

Busy Bees Hobsonville is a Reggio Emilia inspired centre where creativity, collaboration and curiosity shape each day. Our six age-specific classrooms create variety in your work and space for tuakana teina relationships to grow. Kaiako design beautiful provocations with open-ended and natural resources, explore sustainability and local projects, and take tamariki out into the community to parks, schools and local spaces. Our multicultural team celebrates many cultures and we work closely with whānau to reflect children’s identities in our learning. Nourishing, dietitian designed meals are prepared onsite, and everyday routines, including baking, become hands-on learning moments. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you are supported by strong systems, a connected network and leadership that values professional growth and wellbeing.
 

About you:

You bring warmth, reliability and a genuine love for working with young children. Clear communication, strong teamwork and a calm presence help you contribute positively to our busy, creative environment. Building trusting relationships with tamariki, colleagues and whānau comes naturally, and you enjoy getting involved in provocations, projects and community adventures. Curiosity, patience and a willingness to learn will help you thrive in our Reggio Emilia inspired centre.
