Do you feel at home by the sea, where the pace softens and curiosity comes naturally? We are looking for an Unregistered Teacher to join Little Coasties by Busy Bees, a centre shaped by coastline, community, and child-led learning.

Beach walks, rock pool explorations and caring for the coastline become part of your week, giving you the chance to learn alongside tamariki in real, meaningful ways.
 

Inside, our rooms are welcoming, well-resourced and set up to support you as much as the children. Kaiako work closely together, share ideas, and keep the day moving with teamwork, humour and genuine care. Sustainability, creativity and community connection shape our practice, and you will always feel backed by a team who values your contribution. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you will also have access to strong systems, supportive leadership and clear ways to grow your confidence and skills in ECE.

About You:

Experience in ECE is helpful, but what matters most is your warmth, reliability and genuine love for working with young children. You communicate clearly, bring a steady, friendly presence to the room and enjoy supporting kaiako with daily routines, play-based learning and building trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau.
