Are you someone who brings calm, clarity and care into busy moments? We are looking for a Centre Administrator to join Busy Bees Pioneer Highway and support our kaiako, tamariki and whānau with the day-to-day heartbeat of the centre.
This is a part time role offering 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

The Centre Administrator is an important part of how we operate, supporting families with enrolments and daily queries, assisting kaiako with documentation and compliance, and managing centre systems with accuracy and warmth.

Key Responsibilities:
Face to face interactions with parents, children and visitors to the Centre
Maintenance of our childcare management system (Discover) - data entry, data audits, parent invoicing and payment receipts
Answering and directing telephone calls, timely, accurately and professionally
Daily and weekly reports and data collation as required by the Centre Manager
Supplying information to our Support Office in line with daily and weekly reporting requirements
Any other general admin-based tasks as required and requested
About you:
You bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence working with digital systems. You enjoy supporting others and you communicate in a way that is warm, clear and professional. Relationship building comes naturally to you and you are comfortable speaking with families, kaiako and support office teams. You enjoy problem solving and can move between tasks while keeping calm and focused. Previous experience in administration or customer service would be an advantage, along with confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems. Most importantly, you care about people and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
