Registered ECE Teacher | Grey Lynn Montessori by Busy Bees

About us:

Grey Lynn Montessori offers an all-day Montessori curriculum across two carefully prepared environments. Our induction classroom supports 2–3 year olds to build the foundations of Montessori: caring for materials, working in an ordered space and developing early independence. Our Waiheke classroom for 3–6 year olds is a fully equipped Montessori environment, led by experienced Montessori-trained kaiako who work 1:1 with children across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics and Culture. Children enjoy long, uninterrupted work cycles, well-designed materials and teaching that honours intrinsic motivation and deep focus. Baking, science, yoga, drama, gardening and arts further enrich the programme. About you:

You hold an ECE or Primary qualification with current NZ teacher registration. You have a genuine interest in Montessori philosophy, and you value independence, order, observation and respectful teaching practice. You notice children’s cues, work calmly and purposefully, and bring clarity to your planning and assessment. You communicate well with whānau, collaborate confidently with colleagues and bring steady, reflective energy into the room. Montessori experience is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
