Do you believe that every child is an active participant in their own learning journey? We are looking for a Registered Teacher to join our collaborative, professional team at Busy Bees Hobsonville. Bring your practice to a centre where curiosity is celebrated, and you are backed by a nationwide network to grow your career.

About us:

Busy Bees Hobsonville is a vibrant, Reggio-inspired centre featuring six age-specific classrooms that foster tuakana-teina relationships. Our local curriculum is truly unique, with a focus on sustainable living, agriculture, and our local Airforce history. We use every moment as a teaching opportunity, from exploring our local parks to intentional baking sessions that build fine motor skills and mathematical concepts. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you are backed by a values-led nationwide network. You will benefit from robust professional systems and clear leadership pathways while working in a centre that celebrates diverse cultures and strong whānau partnerships.

About you:

You are a registered ECE or Primary trained kaiako who brings warmth, professional energy, and a deep appreciation for inquiry-led practice. You understand how to translate children’s interests into a documented journey using Te Whāriki as your base, creating beautiful provocations that spark critical thinking and self-expression. Building strong, trusting foundations with whānau through whanaungatanga comes naturally to you, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where teacher voice and reflective practice are truly valued.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Full Pay Parity!

  • Comprehensive induction program and mentoring

  • Discounted childcare

  • First Aid certification, annual flu vaccination and staff uniforms

  • A generous PLD budget where you can choose your own learning

  • A monthly staff wellbeing budget and access to EAP services

  • A supportive and highly skilled team to work alongside

Ready to join our whānau? Apply now by sending through your CV and cover letter telling us what lights you up in teaching!
