Ready to kickstart your career in Early Childhood Education?
At Busy Bees Taupō, we believe every tamaiti is a unique and special taonga. We are a centre that feels like home, where our locally based team of kaiako work in partnership with whānau to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. We are looking for a proactive and warm Unregistered Teacher to join our team for 30 hours per week, helping us foster a sense of belonging and curiosity for our tamariki.
About us:
As part of the Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau, we are backed by a national network that brings global expertise and a deep commitment to excellence in early childhood education. This partnership allows our locally led Taupō centre to thrive, offering our team members extensive professional development and a superior standard of care. Our centre is a warm and inclusive hub where we celebrate the richness of our community through cultural events such as Kapa Haka and Matariki. We are currently striving for the Healthy Heart Award, with our on-site cook preparing fresh and wholesome Nourish meals daily. With separate environments for nursery and preschool alongside shared tuakana-teina spaces, we provide a professional setting where every staff member plays a vital role in supporting our tamariki to grow.
About you:
You are someone who brings a proactive "can-do" spirit and a genuine heart for the early years. Whether you are just starting your journey or bringing a wealth of life experience to our classrooms, we value the integrity and warmth you bring to our whānau. We are looking for a reliable team member who communicates with warmth and clarity and isn't afraid to get down on the floor to follow a child’s lead. You value the power of Whanaungatanga and enjoy being part of a team that celebrates diverse traditions and fosters a true sense of belonging for every child and colleague alike.
