Busy Bees Kerikeri Preschool is looking for a flexible and energetic Relief Teacher to join our vibrant team.
About Us
At Busy Bees Kerikeri Preschool, we are a team that values independence and the joy of discovery. Our large, natural outdoor space is the perfect setting for you to facilitate curiosity and play alongside our tamariki. We love getting out into our community using our centre van for excursions and visiting local schools to support the transition to kura. We collaborate closely with our sister nursery nearby to ensure a smooth journey for every child. The Mahi
Supporting our permanent team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for tamariki up to six years old.
Engaging in meaningful play and facilitating curiosity within our large natural outdoor spaces.
Assisting with daily routines to ensure the smooth running of our sessions and the comfort of our children.
Building positive relationships with our local team and children as you move across different learning areas.
Following the lead of the children to support their emerging social skills and individual successes.
About You
You are someone who brings a proactive "can-do" spirit and a genuine heart for working with children. Whether you are a beginning teacher or bringing life experience from another field, you act with integrity and warmth in everything you do. We are looking for a reliable team member who communicates with clarity, values the power of whanaungatanga, and has the flexibility to step in for relief cover when needed. You take pride in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment where every person is respected as a unique taonga and every child is supported to grow at their own pace.
