Are you a heart-led kaiako looking for meaningful mahi? We are seeking a Registered Teacher to join our team from on a fixed-term basis until September. If you value a workspace where relationships come first, we would love to welcome you to our beautiful community.

About us:

Busy Bees Frimley is a calm sanctuary where relationships are the heartbeat of our mahi. As a member of our Busy Bees Aotearoa whānau, you are backed by a national network that values your professional growth with full EAP and dedicated career support. Our centre offers a unique landscape for your teaching journey, from the gentle āhuru of our Pōtikī nursery to the tūhuratanga of our Tuākana room. With Frimley Park just a stroll away, nature becomes your classroom. While our Nourish programme fuels tamariki for their tiny victories, we fuel your passion in an unhurried workspace. Join a team that celebrates every taonga and every kaiako in this beautiful, heart-led community.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Professional Heart: A recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration.

  • A Gift for Connection: Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable nature that makes people feel truly at home.

  • A Proactive Spirit: The initiative to continually look for improvements and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.

  • Pedagogical Passion: A deep commitment to Te Whāriki and an interest in experimenting and innovating with core philosophies.

  • Technical Ease: Confidence using the digital tools that help us document learning and stay connected with our community.

The mahi:
You will be an essential part of the team, making sure every day is full of discovery and meaningful moments for our tamariki. Your focus will be on:

  • Guiding Learning Journeys: Using Te Whāriki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.

  • Documenting the Magic: Capturing and sharing high-quality assessments, ensuring each child's unique progress is celebrated with their families.

  • Fostering Connection: Creating a supportive and equitable atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.

  • Collaborative Practice: Building effective, positive relationships with the whole team and providing a warm, guiding hand for students and helpers.

  • Nurturing Excellence: Maintaining a beautiful and safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Financial Recognition: We provide Full Pay Parity for our Registered Teachers to ensure your expertise is fairly rewarded.

  • Professional Growth: Access a generous PLD budget to support your ongoing learning and career development.

  • Holistic Wellbeing: Enjoy monthly wellbeing initiatives, EAP access, and covered costs for your annual flu vax and First Aid certification.

  • Practical Support: To make your workday easier, we offer discounted childcare fees and provided staff uniforms.

If you are looking for meaningful mahi where your warmth and care can help tamariki thrive, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid work visa.
