Bring your passion for teaching to a part time registered teacher role in our nursery at Busy Bees Silverdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team in our semi-rural centre, where gumboots are a must and children love caring for our chickens and budgies.

About you:
You hold a recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration.
A warm communication style and the ability to build strong relationships.
You bring a proactive spirit and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.
A genuine heart for working with infants and a deep understanding of respectful care practices.
A deep passion for Te Whāriki guides your daily practice and inspires fresh ideas.
You are confident using digital tools to document learning and keep our community connected.
The mahi:
Draw on Te Whāriki as your base to purposefully plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.
Celebrate the magic of learning by capturing and sharing high-quality assessments so every child's unique progress can be shared with their whānau.
Foster a safe, nurturing environment for infants, focusing on respectful interactions and emotional security.
Work closely with families to integrate home routines into the nursery setting for a seamless transition.
Work collaboratively to build positive relationships across the team, offering a guiding hand to students and support staff.
Maintain a beautiful, safe environment where the physical care and wellbeing of all tamariki are held to the highest possible standard.
