Step into a flexible and rewarding role covering our beautiful Wairarapa centres. We are seeking a versatile Relief Centre Cook to offer casual support our teams at Busy Bees Greytown, Busy Bees Martinborough, and Busy Bees Masterton with the exciting option to pick up relief educator shifts too.

A genuine passion for creating wholesome kai that fuels our growing tamariki
Warm, adaptable, and easily able to build connections with different whānau and teams across multiple centres
Excellent organisational skills keep you completely on top of a busy kitchen, even when stepping into a new space
Confident managing everything from set menus to keeping the pantry well stocked and sparkling clean
A proactive mindset ensures food safety and hygiene are always your top priority
Previous experience cooking in an ECE or for large groups is a fantastic bonus, and an interest in relief teaching is highly valued
About You | Mōu
Experienced in cooking for large groups, be it in a childcare centre or other environment
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, at times under pressure.
Fit and active, as this is a busy role
Excellent at communication and have skills to build rapport with parents & children
Flexible in approach, but also able to work to a daily schedule
A real team player with a "can do" attitude
Previous experience in an ECE environment would be beneficial.
