The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager plays a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and decision-making process at Busy Bees Aotearoa.
This role is based on-site in beautiful Orewa, at the Busy Bees Aotearoa Support Office.

The Opportunity | Te Āheinga
The FP&A Manager is responsible for supporting the CFO and wider organisation by providing high-quality financial information, analysis and support
to the functional and operational areas within Busy Bees Aotearoa.
This includes:
Analysing and interpreting financial data to create forecasts, budgets and reports with insights into the business performance and potential risks
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends
Robust financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc analytical requirements using system reports from multiple data sets and platforms
Relationship building with people at all levels across the business
locally, globally (Head Office in the UK) and external to the company
Being a strategic advisor to the CFO and working closely with the SLT members to develop strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring financial objectives are met
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights and recommendations
About You | Mōu
The FP&A Manager will have a curious mindset, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to explain complex information in simple and easy to understand ways. Skills and experience will include:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering in a commercial organisation, ideally as part of a global firm
CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with financial / ERP software
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making
Strong organisational skills and experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
