Centre Cook | Busy Bees Pakuranga

Our vibrant centre is looking for a centre cook to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our little ones. As our cook, you will play a vital role in preparing dishes that not only nourish our tamariki but also provide them with the essential energy they need to thrive, learn, and engage in playful activities!

This is a permanent full-time role from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

About you:

• Experience in cooking for large groups, be it in a childcare centre or other environment
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, at times under pressure
• Fit and active, as this is a busy role
• Great communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with parents and children
• Able to manage a budget
• Competent in maintaining written records in line with the Food Act requirements
• Flexible in approach, but also able to work to a daily schedule
