We are on the lookout for an experienced and inspiring Centre Manager to lead our team at Busy Bees Onehunga. If you are a fully registered ECE teacher with a love for leadership, teaching, and creating meaningful connections, this could be your next exciting step.

Licensed for 80Tamariki, Busy Bees Onehunga is a boutique centre with a lovely homely feel. Gaining inspiration from a range of learning philosophies, we have created our own vision which reflects our children, families and changing community.

As a centre manager you will lead with heart and purpose – supporting and guiding a team of passionate teachers.  You will be key in building strong community relationships, overseeing compliance management, mentoring and coaching and driving exceptional standards of teaching.  You will be an integral part of making decisions which will drive the future focus for the centre, both in terms of environment and education.

What we are looking for:

  • You will hold a Level 7 ECE qualification with Full Teaching Registration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep the centre running smoothly
  • A passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whāriki
  • Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
  • A strong understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
