We’re on the lookout for a Relief Cook / Unregistered Relief Teacher to support our amazing centres across the Wairarapa. Some days you’ll be in the kitchen preparing dishes that nourish our tamariki and keep them energised to learn and play. Other days you’ll be in the rooms, engaging children to follow their curiosity, explore their environment, and grow — while nurturing a strong sense of belonging.

What are we looking for?

• Experienced in cooking for large groups, be it in a childcare centre or other environment

• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, at times under pressure.

• Fit and active, as this is a busy role

• Excellent at communication and have skills to build rapport with parents & children

• Flexible in approach, but also able to work to a daily schedule

• A real team player with a "can do" attitude

• Previous experience in an ECE environment would be beneficial.
