The mahi | You will be an essential part of the team, making sure every day is full of discovery and meaningful moments for our tamariki. Your focus will be on:
Using Te Whāriki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.
Building secure, respectful relationships and following the individual rhythms and cues of our youngest tamariki.
Capturing and sharing high-quality assessments, ensuring each child's unique progress is celebrated with their families.
Creating a supportive and equitable atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.
Building effective, positive relationships with the whole team and providing a warm, guiding hand for students and helpers.
Maintaining a beautiful and safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.
About you:
A recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration.
A Gift for Connection: Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable nature that makes people feel truly at home.
A Proactive Spirit: The initiative to continually look for improvements and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.
A deep understanding of the unique needs of pēpi and a warm, approachable nature.
Pedagogical Passion: A deep commitment to Te Whāriki and an interest in innovating with core philosophies like Reggio Emilia.
Technical Ease: Confidence using the digital tools that help us document learning and stay connected with our community.
