The mahi:
Guiding Learning Journeys: Using Te Whāriki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.
Documenting the Magic: Capturing and sharing high-quality assessments, ensuring each child's unique progress is celebrated with their families.
Fostering Connection: Creating a supportive and equitable atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.
Collaborative Practice: Building effective, positive relationships with the whole team and providing a warm, guiding hand for students and helpers.
Nurturing Excellence: Maintaining a safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.
About you:
Professional Heart: A recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration.
A Gift for Connection: Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable nature that makes people feel truly at home.
A Proactive Spirit: The initiative to continually look for improvements and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.
Pedagogical Passion: A deep commitment to Te Whāriki and an interest in experimenting and innovating with core philosophies.
