Very special things are happening across Busy Bees' Wairarapa centres, several of our wonderful teachers are heading off on their own parenting adventures. Because of this, we’re looking for fixed-term teachers to join our team and help keep the learning, laughter, and little moments buzzing while they’re away. While these roles are fixed term, they may lead to permanent opportunities later in the year.

The Opportunity | Te Āheinga 

  • Guiding Learning Journeys: using Te Whariki as your base to plan and guide the educational and developmental journey of each child.

  • Documenting the Magic: capture and share high-quality assessments, ensuring each child's unique progress is celebrated with their families.

  • Fostering Connection: create a supportive atmosphere where relationships and a sense of belonging are prioritised.

  • Collaborative Practice: build effective, positive relationships with the team, providing a warm, guiding hand for students and support staff.

  • Nurturing Excellence: maintain a safe environment where the physical care and safety of all tamariki are held to the highest standard.

About You | Mōu 

  • You hold a recognised ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current New Zealand teacher registration.

  • A warm communication style and the ability to build strong relationships.

  • You bring a proactive spirit and the integrity to act in ways that are fair and ethical.

  • A deep passion for Te Whariki guides your daily practice and inspires fresh ideas.

  • You are confident using digital tools to document learning and keep our community connected.
